I want to try out MadWorld but I’m afraid its gruesome glory would be too Xtreme (with an X) for my girlfriend to “appreciate.” Also, the heavy amount of white-on-black-on-white-on-black figured to give me stomach quease. At least my buddy will likely stop ranting about how Xtreme No More Heroes is. It may have been a strange f’ed-up-art-design slashfest, but this is a stranger f’ed-up-art-design slashfest.
Also: it always makes me think of the original Gears of War because they played the song “Mad World” during the commercials for it. Then I think of “Mad Season,” a CD by Matchbox 20. Then I stop thinking because that CD is lame.
Think of Mad Season, Layne Staleys project beyond Alice in Chains instead. A little Sombre but with fuck loads of more talent than anything Matchbox 20 can regurgitate.
I would also like to take your coat.
Another great review guys, this game does look very good…but not at full price, looks like one to pick up after the 8 month price drop!
