From Software’s retro RPG, 3D Dot Game Heroes, has finally found a North American publisher in Atlus U.S.A.  According to the press release, 3D Dot Game Heroes will bring, “classic visuals, familar sounds, and a grand sense of exploration and discovery into stunning next-gen realization, all the while giving countless winks and nudges to the fans those iconic games mean the most to. This is pure action-adventure gaming at its finest, a true love-letter to a time-honored genre,”  The game drops May 11, 2010.  That leaves plenty of time for someone to buy me a PS3… I’m looking at you, everyone.

This trailer is 6 honking minutes long and features a parade of hooters. In Japan, this anime-based PSP strategy title is going head-to-head against FF13…and I think it might win.

This is epic. These guys scored a feature film deal by spending $500 bucks to create a Half-Life film (that figure doesn’t include time, work, or love of the game). This hardcore gamers at their best. Enjoy.

I was super excited when I heard about the Wii Pelvic Fitness Game…my dreams of wildly thrusting at the TV set were finally going to be fulfilled. Instead, I’m left alone with all the dirty thoughts I conjured while watching this trailer.

I can see you, you know. You’ve read the title of this article and the expression of dumbfounded confusion will soon atrophy. Maybe someone will pat you hard on the back and your face will stay that way. One can only hope.

Nintendo has flatly and categorically denied Wii HD for the duration of the week quite possibly until next, next year. That said, I’m a fan of Micheal Pachter and his view on the gaming world. He might not always be right but damn if he isn’t entertaining.

Reggie Fil-Aimes has flatly denied the existence of the existence of the HD update to the machine that prints money stating to Geoff Keighley: Read the rest of this entry »
