2010-02-11-Hand-Eye-Social1 (1)

Toronto probably has one of the best Indie video gaming scenes in the entire world. The first Hand Eye Society meeting of 2010 was absolutely gigantic and a potential fire hazard. Controllerpunch was there in at least three different forms (Balls, Crunk, and Minty).

The booze flowed, people connected, and hurrahs were shouted. To find out more about the Hand Eye Society check out the this link. Hit the jump to see some highlights from the night:

Stegersaurus Games

This is a video of a game from local Xbox Live Indie developer…pending agreement we could be giving his games the fist very soon. Check out his site: here.

Hard Hat PSP

I watched the designer play this at the event. It’s all about the particle effects, baby! Check out his Youtube Page: here.

Guerrilla Gardening Seeds of Revolution

gamercamp.ca presentations – spooky squid demo from Jaime Woo on Vimeo.

I was pretty lucky to chat with Miguel Sternberg about his upcoming Guerrilla Gardening title. I walked away impressed and I can’t wait to try it. Why? Because it is so punk. Check it out: here.

XOP Black

This was an awesome bullet hell shooter that is readily downloadable: here. Tons of fun to kill time. I only wish this was on the Dreamcast.
